There are moments in life that make you stop and reflect on how far you've come.
Recently, I had the honor of being featured by Awakened Magazine in an interview titled, "Messenger of Love: How Dark Oracle Reaches the Hearts That Need It." It was a conversation about intuition, healing, grief, spirituality, love, and the journey that led me to become the woman many of you know today as Dark Oracle.
What made this interview so meaningful wasn't the feature itself. It was the opportunity to share the story behind the readings.
Many people know me as an intuitive reader.
Fewer know the experiences that shaped her.
Before Dark Oracle, before the collective readings, before the thousands of messages and videos, there was grief.
There was losing my father.
There was becoming my mother's full-time caregiver through end-stage illness.
There were mornings spent journaling with an oracle deck, not for an audience, but simply to survive another day.
The cards became a lifeline.
Not because they gave me all the answers, but because they helped me reconnect with myself during one of the darkest periods of my life.
In the interview, I spoke openly about how those experiences transformed me. How heartbreak, loss, love, creativity, and spirituality all became part of the same path.
We discussed my fascination with the dark feminine, the goddesses who helped me reclaim my power, my love of poetry and music, and why I believe intuition is something every person already possesses.
We also explored something I am deeply passionate about: collective readings.
Every day, I witness people finding exactly the message they needed at exactly the moment they needed it. Some call it coincidence. Others call it synchronicity. Whatever name you give it, I have seen these moments help people reconnect with their hearts, their truth, and their own inner wisdom.
One of my favorite parts of the conversation was discussing the idea of the wounded healer.
It is a title I wear with pride.
Not because I enjoy suffering, but because I know what it means to walk through darkness and come out the other side carrying light.
Dark Oracle was never built from perfection.
It was built from lived experience.
From heartbreak.
From healing.
From learning how to transform pain into purpose.
I am incredibly grateful to Awakened Magazine for creating a space where these conversations can happen and for allowing me to share my story.
If you've ever wondered about the woman behind Dark Oracle, the journey that shaped my work, or the beliefs that guide my readings, I invite you to listen.
